The Advanced Orchestra consists of continuing students who are primarily in 5th grade. Continuing 4th grade students may join the Advanced Orchestra in rehearsals and participate in the concerts once they have achieved a certain level of skill. This will allow all students ample time to develop the necessary fundamentals at their own pace and alleviate the pressure to perform before they are ready.  This group continues to develop its playing skills as new, fun and challenging music are learned. Students are provided with one weekly lesson in addition to one weekly before school rehearsal.

 

Rehearsals (Grade 5 only, Grade 4 TBA) will be held in the All-Purpose Room on Wednesday mornings at 7:55am. Students need to arrive at least 5 minutes early to unpack and be ready to begin promptly at 7:55.
